The Wayne County Fair will be held July 28th-August 1, 2010. The annual Barbecue will be held Friday evening, July 30th at 6:00 pm.

The Barbecue is one activity that brings the Wayne County Community together for an enjoyable evening. As a Wayne County resident or business, you are encouraged to become a Barbecue Booster. As you may already know, a free Barbecue is served to all fairgoers. This is made possible by donations from many individuals and businesses from the county. It is hoped that you will become a supporter. If you have contributed in the past, the Fair Board appreciates your support for this event.

All food items for the Barbecue will be purchased and prepared in Wayne County.

The donors will have the privilege of serving the Barbecue to the fairgoers. YOU WILL RECEIVE ONE PASS FOR EACH $50.00 DONATED. Your pass, breakfast ticket and Barbecue work assignment will be mailed prior to the fair.

Please mail your donation to the Wayne County Fair and Agriculture Society volunteer, Cindy Milligan at 1615 N Hwy 15, Wayne, NE 68787. You may also leave your donation at the State National Bank.

The donors are listed twice in the Morning Shopper and if your donation is received by July 9, 2010, it will be published on the first list. Please specify how you wish to be listed.
