AGRUCULTURAL HALL VOLUNTEERS

The week of the Fair brings this determined group on a mission.
There is washing and sweeping to get the building in top notch condition
Putting tables, benches, and decorations in place
Wheeling around cases that are awkward to steer
Everything runs smoother when the Ag. Ladies are here!

With thursday morning check-in there is coffee and great smiles
Participants bring pictures, ctafts and garden produce fills the aisles
Finding room for the kids crafts, and admiring the tallest corn stalk
Seeing who brought this years "Largest Potato" makes a lot of farmers talk
Quilts and wall hangings are folded and hung
The workers are read, as the judging has begun
Results and ribbon placing creates an anticipated atmosphere
Laughing and visiting is always present when the Ag Hall Ladies are here!

Fair-goers come and go to the Ag Hall throughout the day
Kids delight in their pink ribbons as they go about the Fairgrounds to play
If there is a job that needs doing there is no need to worry
Volunteer Hosts are available in a hurry
These gals, like the rest of us, life for the Fair
