The purpose of the Cub Scout Pack fund raiser is:

1. Service. Funds will go toward inner city and rural youth programs and promote literacy by providing “Boys Life” magazine to underserved youth.

2. Improvements. Over $300,000 was spent on upgrading facilities at 6 scout camps in 2007. Additional funds will be re-directed to the Little Sioux camp where the tornado was earlier this summer. Funds are also used to support staff, and increase exposure though media outlets. This is an important component of our fund raising progam.

3. Training. Training leaders cost money. The council trained over 750 volunteers in 2007. Improved training improves the quality leadership, and strengthens the scouting program.

Cub Scout Pack 174 will staff the booth each evening during the fair.

On Friday, they will have a table near the fair office during the BBQ to be accessible during peak traffic time.

Order forms will be available at the fair, and will be able to provide “real time” delivery in most cases.

Carmel corn, microwave corn, traditional popcorn, kettle corn, cheese corn, basically any kind of popcorn imaginable.

Price ranges are $8-25 depending on package type and product.
