    All open class economic entries will be entered, judged, displayed and released in the Agricultural Hall.  There are two times for entrants to enter their exhibits:
    Wednesday Evening from 5:30-7:00 pm.
    Thursday Morning 8:00 a.m.-Noon.

    Each exhibitor must be assigned an exhibitors number before entering their items.
     
    ALL EXHIBITS MUST BE ENTERED BY 12:00 NOON ON THURSDAY

    Judging begins at 1:00 pm
     
    Entrants may enter as many items in as many departments as they wish but only one item per premium number.
     
    Each exhibit will receive only one fair premium.  Only five premiums per premium number will be awarded.  all special awards are in addition to the standard fair premiums and are the decision of the judge.  However, only Wayne county exhibitors can win Best in County.

    There will be a Judges Choice Award.  If a special award is not given out, the judge has the option of awarding the award moeny to any exhibit not already specified or a special award.  The judges decision is final.

    Space will be assigned by the department chairperson.

    Junion Division in foods only.  Entrants that are too old to enter the "Under 12" department but have not reached their 18th birthday by July 28th of the current year are elegible.  All other rules apply.

    Premiums for adults and juniors will be:
    Blue Ribbon..........$1.50
    Red Ribbon..........$1.00

    All children under the age of 12 by January 1st of the current fair year are encouraged to participate in the "Under 12" Departments.

    All fair premiums for the "Under 12" departments will be:
    Blue Ribbon..........$1.00
    Red Ribbon...........$ .50
    and a participation ribbon for all other enteries with no cash award.  All "Under 12" participants will recieve a treat coupon.

    NO EXHIBITS FROM PROFESSIONAL EXHBITORS WILL BE ACCEPTED!  PROFESSIONALS ARE DEFINED AS THOSE WHO ADVERTISE THEIR ITEMS AND RECEIVE MONEY FROM THEIR WORK.  IF THERE IS ENOUGH INTEREST A SPECIAL CATEGORY MAY BE MADE FOR THEM TO ENTER.
     
    ALL EXHIBITS RELEASED AT 4:0O P.M. SUNDAY

    NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ITEMS LEFT AFTER 5:00 P.M.
