2014 Kilroy Award Winners-Dave & Joyce Sievers

The recipients of this year’s Kilroy Award are Dave and Joyce Sievers of Wayne.  Both Joyce and Dave were involved in 4-H as youth showing cattle.  Their children and grandchildren have been involved in 4-H as well.  Joyce was a 4-H leader for 15 years and has served on the Extension Board.  She also worked in the fair office for a number of years and worked with cleanup volunteers.  Dave served as Co-Beef Superintendent for the Fair and served on the Fair Board for more than 10 years.  Dave helped construct the stage, back drop and top of the staged and is still used today.  He also assisted in making the cattle tie out fence on the north side of the barns.  Dave and Joyce continue to be hosts for the Nebraska Pioneer Farm Award winners.

Congratulations Dave and Joyce and thank you for all your dedicated service!
